This service is not limited to the topics listed, but is intended to give you an idea of how we can help you reach your sustainability goals. One point we stress over and over is that every individual will have unique challenges and assets to work with in the development of their homestead, and, as they say, ‘you don’t know what you don’t know.’ That is why advice is not always helpful, and in fact, can detour you from your desired result.
Our strategy in helping you reach your homestead goals is to help you ask the right questions, find the right information pertinent to your specific situation, and then to help you apply it in real time. In our own homestead journey, we were blessed by a few people who had the confidence to offer us guidance that wasn’t necessarily based off of the specifics of their own operation, but in a larger paradigm of solution oriented homesteading practices that also took into account their impact on the Earth. That is our intention as well in offering you this service. Over the years we have been heard to say quite often that “Experience is expensive!”Our hope is that with a little guidance, this need not be the case for you.
We can travel to you anywhere from Hilo to lower Puna, or you can come and visit us to observe a homestead example in operation.
